- Check Your Following List
- Open your TikTok app.
- Select the icon for your profile. This is the outline of a person that you will find at the bottom of your screen to the right.
- Select ‘following’. This will show you a list of the people that you’re following.
- Try to find the user that you think has blocked you. If you were following that user and they have blocked you, then they won’t be on your ‘following’ list.
- Check Your Comments and Messages
- Open your TikTok app.
- Select the notifications icon. This is the square speech bubble that you will find at the bottom of your screen.
- Select a comment or mention that you have made on the user’s video. If you can’t see the video, then there is a chance that they have blocked you.
- Try Following Them
- Open TikTok
- Open the Discover page. You will either see a globe, or a magnifying glass icon.
- Type in the person’s name, and then select ‘search’. Results will appear in the form of a list.
- Select the person’s username. If you have been blocked by them, then the account will hide its videos and bio, and you will see a message explaining that you can’t see the person’s content because they have changed their privacy settings. However, this might not technically mean you’ve been blocked, because some accounts are hidden to everyone except just a few people.
- Select ‘follow’. If you are able to follow the person, then they haven’t blocked you. However, if you see a message that explains you can’t follow the person because they have changed their settings, then this is because they have blocked you.
